Not popular compared to the popularity of American bands in Korea, but popular for a Korean artist! It's mostly because Steven Colbert used to talk about him all the time on his show, and was angry that Rain sold more albums on iTunes than he did. Then he did a spoof of a K-Pop video. It's so funny.
